  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Season the sirloin with salt and pepper, then sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until browned but juicy. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. Reduce heat in the skillet and add minced garlic; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Pour in the heavy cream.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan until melted and smooth.
  5. Slice the rested steak thinly against the grain and return it to the skillet along with cooked fettuccine. Toss gently until well coated.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
