- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Sea salt flakes for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture on low speed until just combined.
- Fold in half of the caramel sauce into the dough.
- Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes before baking.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers appear slightly underbaked. Cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to wire racks and drizzling with remaining caramel.
