  • 1 ½ cups fresh cranberries (or frozen)

  • 4 tbsp butter, plus more for greasing
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup toasted breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, brown sugar, nutmeg, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Layer half of the sweet potato slices in the baking dish. Pour half of the cream mixture over them and add half of the cranberries.
  4. Repeat layering with remaining ingredients.
  5. Top with toasted breadcrumbs and bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
